Want my help here? You can make a homepage using either an HTML page or the Portal option, which allows you to put in features such as post counts, recent forum posts, etc. The Portal option also allows for the usual HTML page, and decides what can be seen by outside guests and what's exclusive to members only. For Requiem forums, you see our homepage to guests only, but see something completely different when you log in.

Alright, I've got a proposal for you all, but I'm not sure how you'll take it. So, here goes...



I'm requesting a merger of you guys into our clan. We've always been looking for fresh, smart members, and the people here are good players, if a bit inactive because of school. Now, I know that many clans don't like to give up their name to join another group, but I also don't want to see good players like you suddenly give up and drop the clan. Just today, Alliance of the Loreans, a fairly well-to-do clan, disbanded. There's been a lot of disbanding of clans on the forums recently in fact, and I don't want you guys to be next. In Requiem, you will all recieve full membership and an active community around you. I'll also see if I can wrangle putting you guys into your own squad and keeping your clan name, with Blake as leader there. The squad part is a possibility though, not a promise.

Will you guys merge into Requiem? No hard feelings if you don't, I completely understand. However, it is something that I think would benefit both parties greatly.

Alright, here's what I had in mind for the merger. I'm open to suggestions, but here's the gist of it.

1. All members from both clans will unite under the Requiem banner and merge into the Requiem forums. I've worked hard upping the look of the forun in small ways, now, it's a piece of work in my eyes. Our activity is stable and strong, and we've got good connections diplomatically.

2. However, I would like to keep the Golden Griffin forums and the recruitment page for diplomatic reasons. This will make the merge a kinda behind-the-scenes thing, allowing me to conduct talks with clans that I would not otherwise be able to contact because of Requiem's reputation with some clans.

3. Blake, I'll let you keep the recruitment page on the forums. However, the problem there is that in a few weeks at the most, there will be major changes. I'm not even sure how much of the 'unofficial' clan pages will survive. Yours might get swept away. And I dont' think you're the only one having trouble with the AE forums. Lots of other people have been experiencing issues.

4. I can't wrangle a squad in Requiem being dedicated to your group, that's why I'm letting you keep your forums. However, I'd request that you guys stay primarily active on our forums so we can get to know you better.
